I realize how cheap the beer was. I'm not saying it was that price everywhere, this particular off-sale was trying to get rid of it. I normally don't post on a topic unless I have a link for back up. And since I can't find my receipt, I have no problem with disbelief. I am finding other people...

cans... an off-sale West Acres in Fargo...They were definitely trying to get rid of it. Beer was pretty cheap growing up (70's,80's). I don't remember the year, but they upped the taxes on alcohol. Companies getting bought out, inflation...etc.

August 1986, going back to college. I bought 3 cases of Meister Brau (aka Mr. Beast) @ $4/case. Lucky for me, I only pissed a few bucks away. Probably the last time I "skimped" on buying beer.
