It's certainly an important note. Wisconsin scored on a big pass (with the wind) early in the third quarter. They chose the wind in the 3rd as opposed to the 4th, knowing the weather was likely to deteriorate. Smart move that definitely hurt the Gopher' throw game late.

This is my perspective too. Maybe with some distance from last Saturday, I'll be happier about the co-championship, but now it stings. But hey, the last game of the year meant something big, and that hasn't happened in a long time.

Regardless of which schools are in, it seems bogus to punish a team for losing in a bonus game. Had Minnesota made it to Indy and lost to OSU, I would have expected a Rose Bowl trip and would've been furious had Michigan gone back door to Pasadena!

Both are pretty great trophies. The Oaken Bucket is cool too. There are plenty of candidates for worst, but I'd nominate the PSU-MSU and Nebby-Wisky trophies as worst:
