I think you could see situational starting lineups at times if everyone stays healthy.
But here is my shot at the starting lineup:
Evans
Asuma
Palmer ( he looks better than Durkin)
JCJ
Kordel ( establish defense to start the game)
6th man: Durkin
Then the G-men
Question is, who closes...
It will be interesting how consecutive playing days affect our team if we win.
I feel confident Niko will have them fired up. The defense should be there but they will have to make their shots.
I would switch my vote to Reynolds!
He is the main reason the Gophers all get after it on defense. It is pretty ibvious his junk yard dog approach to defense has rubbed off on the rest of the team. Even Durkin is playing good D! This is also because of the zone Niko hss been using to conserve...
Just reminded me of the 70’s song, “White boy in the NBA!” “He can’t shoot, he can’t …..score!”
But Grove is better than that by far, he can pass and has a good feel for the game.
Much better than Hurt.
Omot is not an option at the five. Chadwick, Cracker, and Grove are the guys with Viahola down low.
Omot is more suited to backup Durkin and be an undersized 4.
I’m thinking you have Chadwick a lower than he will be used. He is a flat out man with a lot of athleticism. If he can catch a ball he will get similar minutes to what Grove and Shinholster get this year.
Grove needs to hit the gym with Chad!
