Koi can be Koi when Freshman Koi is closing games with picks and making plays every Saturday.
When sophomore Koi's big splash plays are more rare some of your antics are harder to stomach.
Like most things in life, the better you are, the longer leash you have.
Agree, even if you don't make the NFL or struggle to catch on in the NFL investing $2 million when you are 20 years old will be looking pretty good when you are 50.
A quick google search estimates in 30 years you'll have $15-35 million saved.
I love Barber and Maroney but I think the 2001 Hurricane backfield with Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee, Frank Gore, and Najeh Davenport backfield might take the cake.
I can't think of anyone else. Would be fun to see some of the better RB rooms... I hate to give them credit but would be curious...
Not a lot of similarities between the two except they were both Gophers and transferred to Oregon.
Koi was the overwhelming fan-favorite, from Minnesota, and was the face of the program who wore the captain patch on his jersey.
Bucky Irving was an exciting back-up that split time with Trey...
Here is my proposal.
- 5 years of eligibility
- no redshirts, medical redshirts allowed
- Free transfer after you graduate
- Any transfer results in automatic eligibility but you have to buy it by using a year of eligibility.
Serious question, what makes one an M man? You play a game for the Gophers?
Does playing for the Gophers make you one no matter how your tenure ends?
Koi Perich, the figure, is a bigger loss than Koi Perich, the player. He was the face of the program. I have never seen more jerseys of a single...
No, I don't think he does. It seems pretty general across the board you only claim the college you finished at.
Max Brosmer, Minnesota and even in the older days, Russell Wilson, Wisconsin.
Koi, thanks for your time but you are no longer a Gopher.
I know this is 100% petty of me, but I’d prefer him never coming here vs coming here and leaving.
You’re either with us or against us. I bleed Maroon and Gold on Saturday and Purple on Sundays. You can’t burn one of my favorite teams and then have me welcome you to the next…. (Unless you get...
Could really blow your mind... You imagine living in a world where Indiana Football is #1 in the country and Nebraska Basketball is #1 in an 18 team Big Ten Conference?
Times... they are a changing...
I should cairify -
Harrison Smiths Freshman and Sophomore years were comparable.
Koi Perich had a much better Freshman year and his sophomore year was comparable to Harrison's sophomore. year.
Looking purely at stats, his freshman and sophomore years were comparable. His junior and senior seasons were also comparable, except for one glaring stat. Harrison Smith had 7 career interceptions at Notre Dame, all of which occurred his junior year.
Very true, but on basic athleticism and plays he has put on tape over two years he is good enough to be at worst get into a training camp and most likely a day 3 pick. Is he good enough to make a 53 man roster? I have no idea.
Like I said, it might not be the best career decision but I would be...
