I see that one team above the Gophers in the NET rankings (before today's game) also has no Quad 1 wins: Creighton, who is 0-5 (Gophers are 0-6). But against Quad 2 teams, Creighton is 5-0, and the Gophers are 2-4. It is amazing that our NET rankings is still as high as it is.
ESPN's latest bracket (Feb. 14) has 12 Big Ten teams in the tournament. Here are the Big Ten teams in its latest bracket, with NET rankings in parentheses:
#1 seeds: UCLA (#5)
#2 seeds: USC (#6)
#3 seeds: Ohio State (#15)
#5 seeds: Michigan State (#21); Maryland (#28)
#6 seeds: Michigan (#25)...
I don't follow Gopher men's basketball, but I happened to look up the NET rankings, and I see there that Oregon has 8 Quad 1 wins, second most to #1-ranked Auburn, who has 11. (After Oregon, the next three highest have six.)
Sidearm stats are screwed up royally. They have the time of the game right, but the stats say Minnesota is up 25-20.
[Edit] Now it shows Minn 28 Mich 20 when the score actually is 37-33
