I don’t disagree with your bet, but to me the idea of JJ winning the comeback award is odd because he’s not really “coming back” to anything seeing as how he never played an NFL game pre-injury.

Coyle has his flaws but he has made some really good hires, most notably PJ. Ben was an obvious miss but I will go to my grave certain that Coyle didn’t make that choice.

I am in the camp of being skeptical but rooting like hell for JJ. It does bother me a bit as a fan interacting with other Vikings fans that you almost get shot down immediately if you dare to criticize or question anything about JJ. Almost reminds me a little bit of the Christian Ponder...

I'm still in wait and see mode for sure, but I'm happy to give JJM credit (since I ripped on him hard in the first half) for his bounce back. There were definitely flashes of a good QB in there.
