Interesting, I would be shocked if he's not going right to the NHL once drafted. I admittedly am not as clued in as most on this message board but I was always under the assumption that if he does play college hockey it would be as a 17 year old pre-draft year kind of like Celebrini.
I’m going to predict Florida in 7, though I’m not sure why everyone is so in admiration of Bob, he had the 16th best save % in the league this year and his career playoff numbers aren’t anything special.
I think Florida’s depth + the Hyman injury make the difference here.
The way the contracts are written likely make a difference here. A pro athlete pays taxes in those states because he is very clearly being compensated for work done in that state.
A player who gets paid NIL funds for shooting a commercial for a local bank in MN likely has income sources to MN...
Skinner makes absolutely no sense but it is fascinating to follow.
I thought Dallas would take it to Edmonton. So far I am not looking wise there. Other than a completely disastrous 3rd period in game one the Oilers look like the better team so far.
The good news is about 3 years after bonin declared that the B1G killed the program we were inches away from a national title, so I all of a sudden feel pretty good about the future.
I had Canes in 7 as well. Going to stand by it but am less confident than I was 24 hours ago.
I see Dallas having their way with Edmonton but hope I am proven wrong.
