Yeah, things can happen, but how can you not like this response? The guy is a good dude, I thought that before this clip, and I believe it more now.

I’m saying infielders tend to go farther out and call off outfielders unnecessarily. If you read my first post, you’d know that. That’s all.

The fact is that infielders extending their range into where a normal outfielder can reach the ball coming forward is a relatively new thing. Not uninformed in the least but I don’t need to justify that to you. I’m simply not a fan of the practice that directly led to an injury. Weird flex.

I may be in the minority, but not a lot of things bug me more than infielders extending too far into the outfield to make a catch while calling off outfielders. Buxton vs. Correa didn't need to happen.
