From my early days watching this team Bonin, Crowley, and Reggie Berg were favorites. Some others are Westrum, Taffe, Potulny #2, Irmen, Rau, Bjugstad, Haula, and Schmidt. Cooley and Knies probably my favorite though.

I'd say that's all fairly accurate, but I can still agree with his recruiting stance at the same time.

Meaning I doubt this coaching staff even reaches out to him. If it were me, I agree with you and I would go after him.

Look, we are just fans on a message board. None of us are part of the decision making progress and it's not like this conversation has any bearing on whether or not Motzko keeps his job. And I'm not necessarily saying he should lose his job, but at his age how many years does he have left...

I agree, it's been 6 months since the window opened. I'm really surprised they have not had a single recruit. Lots of high end guys have already committed elsewhere. And of course, the goalie situation for the future is not looking good.

Valid concern, assuming at some point it might not work out. But you have to look at the success our D is having over the last half dozen years and admit that maybe PJ knows what to look for in defensive coaches.
