Well this is about as close to A-B testing as we'll ever get... two HS ATH/QBs with similar measurables, basketball players, projected as TE at next level. One choosing to stay home to rep his home state in front of friends and family at UM, the other chasing the dream of playing at a helmet...

No need to turn this into a PSU trashing thread in anticipation of an adverse decision. Certainly not fair to tie a young athlete's decision to this.

You can definitely see the shift over the last 5 years in how the top in-state recruits view the program.

Agreed. I also tend to feel better about the way/timeframe the classes are filled, in comparison both to past MN coaches and other comparable teams. PJ has consistently filled the class by May/June--- they are going out and getting the guys they want, many of whom we've seen get increased...

Schedule lines up nicely for something special, tough year to have a complete unknown at QB.

Yea the simple, classic look works when its tied to a history of success. Otherwise it just looks old.
