She is injured. She has been playing most of the year with her injury.

From what I have been able to find, her decision to red shirt was not injury related. There has been nothing I have found to indicate the reasoning behind her decision to red shirt.

Add to that the loss of the associate head coach in late fall.

Unfortunately, she didn't fit Coach P's system. She had a year and a half to get there. But, with Woodson, Braun and the 5 tournament starters returning, without a big improvement in the next 6 months, her playing time would be limited. I wish her good luck with her future team.

Didn't say that. Said I would like to have her as a Gopher. My comment was that if a Gopher guard had 5 turnovers and only 1 assist that she would be criticized.

I would really like to have Olson on the Gophers. But, she had 5 turnovers and 1 assist. I think some posters would be ripping on a Gopher player that had those statistics..

I thought that state tournaments run on a rotating schedule. If so, 2026 boys BB will not interfere with any Gopher post season events. Does not mean girls BB will not conflict. Working around a hockey tournament should not be a problem.

She hit the ball sharply a couple of times, but right at the fielder. Since she has played every inning in the field, I doubt she is injured.
