Exactly. I don't look to much into articles like this. I personally expect our OL, WR's, RB's and QB to be middle of the pack at WORST. But that could just the fan in me talking.
Probably a little of both. Drake is ranked so low because he hasn't played any meaningful snaps and nobody knows about him. He could blow expectations out of the water, or he could be what everyone thought he was. But with Taylor and Turner, I see P.J. running the ball more than he did last...
Niko does wonders with developing talent and I’m sick of not ever seeing a gopher get drafted in the first round (or high second).
So who do you think it’s gonna be and why is your answer Bobby Durkin?
Looks like another body to bang for a few minutes if called on. Only being 228 pounds at 6'9 is concerning, especially if they want him to play in the low post. For reference Vaihola is 260 at 6'8 and Turner is 265 at 6'10.
If they land this kid, good for him, but I'd think its a practice/deep...
I agree with adding another big, but I don't know if I see it happening. They could be eyeing a couple transfers or digging deep in the HS uncommitted ranks, but Niko seems to be pretty picky with the type of players he's adding to the squad.
Honestly I'm hoping Turner is just an absolute...
Honestly I don’t expect much improvement in the win column. What I do expect is a better brand of basketball.
I think it’s gonna take Niko a year or two to get going. But who knows. Maybe he’ll surprise!
I’m hoping they land that Tyson kid and he gets back to his Belmont form. Tyson and Durkin would be a hell of a combo on the perimeter and probably force defenses to key on them leaving that monster down low (Turner) singled. Undefeated season
