If the team is good, the atmosphere will be good regardless of the building. The barn is almost 100 years old. Why would we invest more money into it? Time to tear it down and build a new house and incorporate the raised floor and close seats to the court. Those are the only things that makes...
Williams Arena is a dump. The only redeeming thing about it is the raised floor and that’s not a good reason to keep it. Renovating it would just be putting lipstick on a pig.
Here are 3 reasons why AK was unsuccessful IMO.
1. The current OC/QB Coach is not of P5 caliber. AK had a really solid end of 2022 under KC. Harbaugh just doesn’t cut it and until PJ figures that out, don’t expect the new QB to be any better.
2. A significant drop off on the O Line played a big...
Somebody understands what I’m saying. Athan should, and likely will, start and play the entire game except for a token series. If he doesn’t, then he should question PJs desire to win. Tanner starting or playing major minutes has no long term benefit to this team. Frankly, he should never have...
The only thing that people truly care about is the raised floor. Who says you can’t build a shiny new arena from the ground up with a raised floor? The rest of Williams is a dump. I say tear it down and build a brand new arena.
If I’m Athan, and PJ starts Tanner ahead of me for this game, I transfer out immediately after the game. Tanner had a great career. He clearly is not the best QB on the team. He has also had 2 concussions this year. There is zero reason to start Tanner. No one is cheating him out of finishing...
Ben is playing with 2 veteran players down this year. He has 1 player that played meaningful minutes last year on this team. He has one player from the previous coach’s recruits (TT) that wouldn’t likely have been recruited by Ben and really is limited in what he contributes. He has an 8 man...
Stats are for losers. He didn’t pass the sniff or eye test. But if we are going with stats, let’s go with 0 points and 38 yards passing with Tanner as the QB.
