Agree great defense from Battle on offense would like to see her be a bit more selective on her shots. 20 shots to 3 assists and 5 turnovers.

For the most part, I thought her shots were good shots they just weren’t falling.

I think this team will look good in the non conference schedule. The big question will be how they compete in Big Ten. Garcia will be a star but not sure how the other pieces will do against the upper tier big ten teams.

Is there a game in the non conference that we think will be more competitive to give an idea how the team will fair in conference play?

Unfortunately her shooting percentages have regressed and she has said in numerous articles she worked on that over the summer. Am sure that is frustrating for her.

Mara might just be overall physically exhausted she played a lot of international basketball this summer and fall. I will say it again but I think Battle looks for her shot more this year - yes her assist number are up slightly. Our posts are not athletic enough.
