Was watching that game online and when Northfield went for it on 4th down from inside their own 5, I turned it off and looked for some other game. What happened?

There were times in the second half where we lined up in a 6 - 2 defensive front and LA just ran it wherever they wanted. Too many guys were either not being gap sound and or could not hold their gap because they weren’t strong enough.

In 5A, Rochester JM rested their starters in the final regular season game vs. Mankato West (Lost 61-0), so they would be ready to play in the first round of the playoffs. Guess that didn't work as they got beat by New Prague 39 - 30 (Lost to them as well in Regular season 38 - 22)

Then why was the D Smith play ruled a catch? Same thing happened there, ball touched the ground then moved after. If one’s a catch, then so is the other. If one’s not a catch then so is the other.

I was one of them. Very happy with the win. I believed the Nebbie/Raiola hype. The Gophers played a very physical game up front and won the game at the LOS. DL > DR. Hope Rhule stays there for many years as The Gophers own him!!
