The lack of support, in my experience as a teacher for 15 years, was in the school administration. My observation was that bad teachers often became administrators while great teachers loved teaching. The problem is that those former bad teachers then dictate their bad policies on good teachers...

Haven't seen them play, but UND is a good proving ground to showcase skills and get stronger. Play a year or two at the mid-major level and see whether there is a bigger market that wants you.
