Teams change from year to year obviously, but Minnesota at home vs. MSU at the end of last season would have been about a 7-point favorite. Unless MSU got a bunch of stud recruits and transfers I'm not aware of, we should be favored by at least a TD if not more.

St. Thomas is beneath us, and playing a true road game implies that there's some level of parity.
I agree, I enjoy the Thursday opener. I just wish they would consistently schedule a credible opponent. The game is so much more enjoyable when the outcome is in doubt. We could beat Eastern Illinois by 120 if we wanted to.

Ibrahim coached one season at Kent St. (2025). Limegrover coached there 2 seasons (2023 and 2024) and was fired along with the rest of Kenni Burns' staff after the 2024 season. Their tenures did not overlap.
