I'm 69 years old and never would have guessed who the actor standing beside John Wayne was with-out your post. Gotta admit, never heard of the actor Ben Johnson until just now. I'm totally aware of Ben Johnson the football coach and Ben Johnson the sprinter. Ben Johnson, the cowboy actor...
Between the "You knows" and the interviewer having trouble efficiently setting up, then asking a direct question, this interview went about 5 to 10 minutes longer than it needed to. I give L.P. a bit of a pass because he's not a professional, but the interviewer doesn't need to ramble like...
So now that I live in Tucson, I was thinking of making the 6 or so hour hop over to watch the Gophers play. Curious if anybody has seen anything about exact game times, prices and a Gopher friendly hotel in the area that week-end. Would rather make arrangements too early than too late. Thanks

With the changes in college hoops over the past couple of years, it seems that instead of "playing right to please the coach and earn playing time", it's more like "coaching right to please the player and get him to stay another...
While I love having a lot of guys who are possible double figure scorers, my biggest fear is that they might also be double figure defenders in Big Ten play. I'd love to hear more about "stay in front", "Instinctively execute some of the nuances of higher level team defensive concepts" and "Not...
