I wouldn't limit it to just Gophers reporters. The sports media in the Twin Cities is the worst out of any major market in the country.

Pitino is very gracious to come on and do an interview and speak positively about a team that fired him. I don't know if I could do it.

That was the word and part of Ben got the job. Problem is sucking up to the AAU coaches doesn't mean they will get players to play here.

If the new coach is depending on Mitchell level talent the Gophers won't be significantly better.

Frank is a nice player, would I like to keep him, sure. That said, he's not changing any teams trajectory in any sort of huge way.
