OSU going for the home runs and connecting on every single one. Hard to believe it is such a different game than when the Ducks won a couple months ago. This is going to be like 52-21 with a couple garbage Oregon scores.
I agree it was a good gamble as rushing 3 would’ve just allowed Ewers to sit there and find someone open. When the blitz didn’t get home immediately I knew it was going to be bad, but not that bad. The DBs should have been told not to even look in the backfield, just stay with the WR. Worst case...
I agree - wasn’t it Navy-OU that was the same? OU decided to go for 2 rather than tie it up after a regulation ending TD. I agree not playing for OT in non-playoff bowl games. If it does go to OT they should limit it to 2OT and call it a tie.
Losing to unranked teams is Bama’s calling card this year. “But we beat Tennessee and Georgia!” Well, Bammers, you need to ALSO beat Vandy and OU (or at least one of those) to deserve the playoffs.
Using the CB in our van was one of the best parts of long road trips. Especially the time when we traveled with another family so we could chatter back and forth.
After watching the entirety of that UGA GT game I will endorse any petition to get rid of that rule. A timeout after EVERY 1-2 plays is NOT a way to shorten OT.
From that game, they also need to get rid of the rule that they switch end zones after EVERY 2 plays. Hiw much time did that add?!
Even if some team had 3 L’s which were all to top 5 teams, they shouldn’t get in. Why? They’ve already had 3 chances to beat playoff caliber teams and couldn’t do it so they’re unlikely to be able to in the playoff either.
Ok. If the Gophers had the EXACT same season (same opponents, same scores) would you have been saying “nah, we’re overrated. Bama should be in the playoff ahead of us.”
They’re basically veiling the argument that 3 loss Bama should be in because they’re historically a top team. Well then, win...
