Having both the DC and Co-DC be from positions in the secondary I don't think is optimal. At least one of them should be a LB or DL coach, have to toughen up the box to help out the DBs. Edge rushing has been real good this season but the interior DLine play hasn't been good enough in league play.

The base defense may not be getting the most out of the players. The 4-2-5 does not seem the most effective. The 6-man box is not getting pressure or getting home on the QB, which gives WRs time to get open and for the ball to get there. As good as the DB room that we have it's just getting let...

I'd anticipate that a few players leave the team but do not enter the portal. Stay at Minnesota to attend classes and get educated. Stay involved with the team in someway like as a manager. if the the roster size increases for 2026, they could reclaim a roster spot then.

I voted 9-3. I think that we could catch either Oregon or OSU in a close game at their place. Pendulum will swing down for at least one of those teams next season and would be a great opportunity for a huge win. Win 2/3 of the trophy games looks very possible.
