Agreed. I’d think it must have either just grazed him or been very low caliber. No way a bullet actually enters your stomach and you get out of the hospital that fast.
He’d be a solid player if they just stuck him in the corner on offense and used him as a cutter. Instead Ben and himself seem to think he’s prime Chris Paul.
To be fair, who is the last Minnesota player that didn’t play at all early in their career, and ended up being a good D1 player? I honestly can’t name one in recent memory.
The only good defender they lost is Carrington (Payne would make some nice plays, but wasn’t consistently good imo). If the new guys turn out to be good defenders they could make a jump.
