Definitely doesn’t fit now, but you can build average athleticism over a few years with dedicated training. If his shooting keeps him in the league, he should have no excuse for not being an average defender by the time he’s 22. He’s still only 18. Imo he’s got the length to defend on the wing.

When he was hot mid season, so were the gophers. Then he cooled off, and so did the record. There’s a lot more to it than that, but we were a competitive team when he was on.
