Was referencing Wiggins (Benilde) and Anderson (Eden Prairie). Two key pieces that transferred in specifically to try to win a state title.

Shakopee winning it would be great. Played together since 4th grade. Hate to see the transfer schools win (Wayzata/Cretin). Like Breck beating Lake City in 2A last year.

Shakopee has won 17 in a row and 21 of last 22. Had a few injuries early in the season but have been fully healthy during this run. I think they have a good chance to beat Wayzata.

As a young kid I was fascinated by the Big East. Having only 5 channels and never seeing them play, names like Georgetown and Villanova sounded mythical (much cooler than Wisconsin, Iowa, etc.). Those epic Sports Illustrated cover photos didn't hurt.
