I know this question has been asked before, but if we are only going to throw 20 passes per game and complete less than 60% of them...why don't we just play a running QB?
He has arm "talent", so he makes some throws that make you think he is the guy. But bad mechanics create too many inaccurate throws and play calling doesn't give him many opportunities to get in rhythm.
My opinion is that A.D. goes to Fleck and tells him he either needs to hire a new OC/QB coach with experience....or give him an easier choice of hiring a QB coach to make Harbaugh's job easier.
The QB coach can be anyone not named Tanner Morgan. Need an outside voice.
I'm not smart enough...
Iowa rated dead last in offense, historically bad.
Two yards and two turnovers in the second half.
Iowa needs to average 36 points a game rest of season to save Brian Ferentz job. If A.D. makes the correct decision to fire him at end of season, does Kirk walk? Will Brian do the honorable thing...
He called fair catch late all game and drew a 15 yard penalty by initiating contact. By rule, that is allowed. By rule, he can't come in waving his arms and then return the punt. It was the correct call
They aren't able to control the clock and limit possessions on offense anymore. We aren't seeing Mo Ibrahim leading a 14 play drive for 75 yards that eats up half a quarter.
The opposing offenses are getting more drives and more chances to find weakness on the Gophers D. All the players on...
Wisconsin just changed to an air raid offense.
Michigan fans complained plenty the past 20 years.
Google Brian Ferentz and see if there are any Iowa fans complaining.
I've been watching a lot of The QB School with JT Sullivan on YouTube. It's NFL, but made me think a lot about the Gophers. He does a great job of breaking down film and showing why a particular play doesn't work instead of just saying the coordinator sucks. He shows why a QB is inaccurate...
