Make no mistake: Love that Woodson joined the squad - she's a great get.
I only compared the two as someone earlier in the thread had listed the '24 depth chart and Woodson was starting with GG as her backup. Just not sure GG would be displaced.
I don't know if Woodson would start over GG. 1.9 ppg/1.7 rpg vs 10.8/4.7.
Granted Grace averaged 4 times as many minutes. But TW never attempted a 3 pointer.
Seems like GG might be the choice in offensive situations and TW in when needing stops over points.
This whole MN grown discussion is silly. Look at the teams in the top 10 year after year. UConn isn't full of Connecticut kids. South Carolina isn't full of kids from the Carolinas. LSU Isn't full of Louisianians (it's a word.. I looked it up). They get great players. Period. Regardless of...
Battle made strides this year. After Braun went down she elevated her responsibilities to score. Now she needs work to maintain that scoring ability while simultaneously improving her court vision and passing off the dribble. By no means an unreasonable or unachievable next step to being a...
Not playing like they care. The only point of playing at all is to get to where the last game of your season has meaning. They need to get engaged. And hit those damn open shots. We're getting good midrange and 3-point looks because StL converges 3-4 players on the ball whenever it enters...
Has there been word that Braun might play? I figured if her foot had a setback they'd treat her with caution and shut her down so everything heals properly for next year.
Incoming players will need to earn their time. But I believe Coach P and the current starters would love for them to prove worthy so the current starters don't have to play 38+ minutes a game again next year.
Nobody is upset they won. But ugly basketball is going to be criticized. 13 turnovers in the second half against a non-power 5 team. Frustrating. But congrats to all the girls for toughing it out.
