PJ might use that paddle…
A 20 year old trying to buy alcohol.... Don't care.
I don't think this is me being a homer either. I would have the same opinion no matter who or where it is. Coach be very lenient. Im guessing he will.
I got a minor when in college. Most expensive 5 beers of my life (so far). This is a non issue.
It becomes an issue if it keeps happening or escalating. All of us (except 1) would be happy if this is the worst thing our kids do.
Mugshot T-shirt would sell like hotcakes. Is Dinkytown Athletes going to start selling #5 jerseys with "Pappagorgio" on the back?
Sounds like an NIL deal in the making...Sally’s cracks me up, so many underage kids, with that same Police Officer that played at Michigan outside every night.
You must be younger than I am. I'm pretty sure my minor cost LESS than 5 beers at a bar nowadays!I got a minor when in college. Most expensive 5 beers of my life (so far). This is a non issue.

How much was your major?I got a minor when in college. Most expensive 5 beers of my life (so far). This is a non issue.
So are you saying that had I been a little more ridged about underaged drinking my kids would have cured cancer instead of their law degrees?
I'm cutting him some slack. I could not find a recent paper that I read but the human brain does not not appear to fully develop until the late 20's, or possibly the mid 30's. So, all those dumb things that we did (and Drake) were not our fault, our brains had just not fully developed. https://www.bing.com/search?q=what+age+does+the+brain+develop+completely?&cvid=6bf86bdf7a3641e1ba2ef127b2867f35&gs_lcrp=EgRlZGdlKgYIABBFGDkyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQABhAMgcIAhDrBxhA0gEJNDA0MDdqMGo0qAIIsAIB&FORM=ANAB01&adppc=EDGEDBB&PC=EDGEDBB
I think with all the concern around public safety, the fake ID is probably enforced fairly seriously. My guess 99% of the fake IDs relate to underage drinking and youthful mischief, but the other 1% has more than a few bad actors in the subset.Correct. Fake id gets you taken to jail and booked a bunch of places
I was thinking "There goes Lansu's redshirt!"Shikenjanski's time is now.
My two kids have Minnesota fakes they they’re totally legit. They even get scanned at the liquor stores and they work. It’s their picture their address, everything identical to their drivers license, except the date of birth. It’s crazy the first time I saw them I couldn’t believe how good they were.My brother had the best fake ID of all time. I’m three years older than him so gave him my expired license same last name looked like each other piece of cake. For whatever reason, my two kids both had Illinois fake IDs there was some connection to Illinois in our town to where that’s where a big chunk of the kids got them. It irritated me when I found out they both had one, but expecting kids to go to college and not drink until they’re 21 in general is nonsense. I turned 19 in ‘84 and was grandfathered in when the law changed to 21 later that year that was a shit show for a while trying to figure out who is legal and who wasn’t for the bars.
I hope they have Drake make a quick statement, followed by a quick statement for PJ and then we never hear about it again.
I am in the same age group as you so no fake ID needed. We were more interested in the hippy lettuce anyway.I think with all the concern around public safety, the fake ID is probably enforced fairly seriously. I was 19 when the legal drinking age in Minnesota dropped to 18 from 21 in 1973. They raised it to 19 in 1976 largely at the behest of the Minnesota State High School League. Ten years later it was raised to 21 (with a grandfather clause for those who had already turned 19). As I recall, there was a Federal push to raise the drinking age to 21 and I believe a reduction in some Federal spending for states that didn't comply.
Who knows how this affects Lindsey and what PJ will do about it. He likely has to do something, but it doesn't appear that Lindsey was driving under the influence, so that will lighten the punishment.
The drinking age change sure cut down the need to drive to Hudson. But we knew some older guys on the Augsburg campus that would deliver the goods for a small carrying fee. Four cases of delicious Pfeifer's for $10 at Zipp's Liquors on Franklin or Skol down on 26th and 27th.I am in the same age group as you so no fake ID needed. Whyowa can count? I don't believe they can decipher the numbers needed to determine if a speeding ticket is warranted. They just cannot be capable. My mother was not pleased with my nolo contendere plea at age 18 for DUI, but the Judge was nice to me and she paid the fine. Zero infractions since other than a speeding ticket in 1991 (in I-O-W-A no less).
Hopefully a similar lesson for Drake. Life will go better coloring within the lines.
I'm sure a beat writer or two saw this as an opportunity to disparage Fleck and the image of the program he's done a really good job of projecting over the years, and to see if they could find a way to call him a hypocrite if Drake doesn't get some kind of punishment that pleases the masses. The bigger story here is is how does a kid who gets caught underage drinking / fake id make it as a front page of cbssports.com or espn.com? I get it is a QB and a potentially a top rated qb, but this seems strange compared to things other students have done that have gone vastly underreported. Not saying this is all bad for the U of Minn or Drake, just seems out of place.
Can't get drunk if you're eating the shards from the glassthat's because if you went drinking with AK and asked him to pass you a beer, he may throw it at you at 100mph
Maybe it is the continuing conspiracy by the national media to not give the team the credit they deserve and to knock them down? The bigger story here is is how does a kid who gets caught underage drinking / fake id make it as a front page of cbssports.com or espn.com? Next you know Darius Taylor will get arrested for going 60 in a 55.
