If anyone thinks coyle has any fucking usefulness if the end result is Brett Larson, i have no idea what to tell you
If the end result is us hiring potulny or Larson by early next week, then it’s because coyle made a snap decision, didn’t do his diligence, didn’t do a national search, and has zero business hiring hockey coachesHow was the deal with the new coach not done prior to Bob leaving? If you wind up with option 3 or 4 that’s a terrible result.
The next coach will live in Wayzata or Edina, so I wouldn't be concerned.Brutal job by Coyle so far… but I feel bad for him, tough to recruit a coach to live in Minneapolis right now
Pretty sure Raboin was a big reason Faber, Knies, Cooley were Gophers???Who is your top coaching candidate? Who do recruits want to play for?
WelpTyden Bergeson just followed the Future of Pride on Ice account on X. Hopefully that means Raboin could be the hire and a big commitment flip for the Gophers.
You’re right I’m sure people around the country are stoked to move to a suburb of Minneapolis after the events of the past 6 years! The next coach will live in Wayzata or Edina, so I wouldn't be concerned.
The crap is spreading in Minnesota and it won't turn back around. I can't imagine what elementary school classes look like. It's too late, Minnesota is lost. Everyone will keep moving outwards, Waconia will boom, but it'll inevitably face the same fate. You’re right I’m sure people around the country are stoked to move to a suburb of Minneapolis after the events of the past 6 years!
You sound like an ignorant hillbilly. I live in Minneapolis and absolutely love it. I’ve never once felt unsafe in the least. Minneapolis is rated at or near the top of the best large cities to live in nationwide year after year. You’re right I’m sure people around the country are stoked to move to a suburb of Minneapolis after the events of the past 6 years!
Ya because they overtax like crazy and give handouts to all the lazy fraudstersYou sound like an ignorant hillbilly. I live in Minneapolis and absolutely love it. I’ve never once felt unsafe in the least. Minneapolis is rated at or near the top of the best large cities to live in nationwide year after year.
Get a damn clue.
I love that you love it there. You sound like an ignorant hillbilly. I live in Minneapolis and absolutely love it. I’ve never once felt unsafe in the least. Minneapolis is rated at or near the top of the best large cities to live in nationwide year after year.

Perception? Haha who cares?I love that you love it there.
But you should go ask people in any other city what their perception of Minneapolis is right now.
Minneapolis is better without you!I love that you love it there.
But you should go ask people in any other city what their perception of Minneapolis is right now.
The highest homicide rate in Minneapolis in the last 6 years was 22.4 per 100,000 residents in 2021. In Montgomery, AL it was 42 per 100,000. In Birmingham, AL it was 65.7. All have dropped since with Minneapolis much lower than the other two by about half. You’re right I’m sure people around the country are stoked to move to a suburb of Minneapolis after the events of the past 6 years!
One can’t even possibly conceive of why they would say that to someone with the name bamagopher. Impossible to logic that oneYou just used Mpls in a sentence with Birmingham and Montgomery lmao
You better start believingOn the coaching search, I refuse to believe Raboin would turn down the chance to coach Minnesota to stay at frickin Augustana. Sorry but not happening. Everyone calm down. Believing every rumor will drive you crazy.
U of Alabama is in Tuscaloosa for the record lol but the difference is that university puts its money where its mouth is and funds its athletic department appropriatelyThe highest homicide rate in Minneapolis in the last 6 years was 22.4 per 100,000 residents in 2021. In Montgomery, AL it was 42 per 100,000. In Birmingham, AL it was 65.7. All have dropped since with Minneapolis much lower than the other two by about half.
What's your point?
If that’s true then we’re better off without him and we dodged a bullet. A great coach should want the pressure of coaching at an elite program. If he wants to stay at Augustana over Minnesota then fine. I still don’t believe it though it makes no sense whatsoever. You better start believing
Lol shut up dorkBrutal job by Coyle so far… but I feel bad for him, tough to recruit a coach to live in Minneapolis right now
