All Things NFL Playoffs/Super Bowl Thread

Not a NE fan but dang glad they beat the Broncos.
Even better that Sean Payton not taking the points in the first half comes back to be the difference in the game. One of the dumbest decisions ever.

I cannot say the afc championship game has been an enjoyable watch
Man...I love watching snow/weather games as much as the next guy but it still sucks when a game of this importance is impacted as much as it was.

Payton gets to go home and lick his own marbles so it wasn't a total loss for me.

It’s part of the trouble of how much they’ve changed the game with how they call it and it can vastly tilt the advantage one way or the other. Played really into NEs hands today as they have a great interior DL. I’m just a fan of letting both teams have the chance to execute their optimal team and let it play out. This rams Seahawks game is a perfect example

Naturally for Vikings fans it will be Darnold vs Maye. The guy we had vs the guy we wanted.

Should be the vikes in the SB.
Great for Sammy, he’s well liked throughout the League from what I’ve heard and stuck with it when no one else believed in him 😃

They’ll be tons of stories on his reclamation project and hopefully this may nudge the Vikes to go all in on Burrow and not settle for Subs Part II

Doubtful we would have made it this year with Darnold and the OL injuries 🤦‍♂️

Everyone knows why Mina Kimes even has a job but this take is right up there among the all-time classics. She's just so embarrassingly stupid

SEA beats NE in the Super Bowl and Darnold drives through the Twin Cities with the MVP trophy to thank Vikings fans.
I'd like to hedge my bet and buy some insurance.

I need this prediction to hit so I earn enough street cred to be wrong about everything else in 2026.

Are you related to @Ope3?

I can never pull such a stunt because i never get one right🤦‍♂️

Sam Howell says Hi 🤠

I'm not sure what this means, other than I definitely thought Howell was going to be a good backup for the Vikings this year?

Speaking of backups, I can't wait to see what the Vikings do with this situation in the next 6-8 weeks. I have to think a lot of names are in play but the heat will be on to make sure they have some insurance this season given JJM's proclivity of putting himself in harm's way. I can't even begin to guess who they will be targeting at this point.

Kind of fascinating

Geno in Seattle: 70.4%, 4320 yards, 21 TDs-15ints, 272 rush yards and 2 tds. 50 sacks

Sammy D: 67.7%, 4048 yards, 25tds-14ints, 95 rush yards, 0 TDs, 27 sacks

The Seahawks massively upgraded the OL and JSN has grown into maybe the best wr in the league. Trying to say it was just Darnold replacing geno is way too simplistic. Though acting like you couldn’t upgrade from geno is also lol

That QB stat comparison is some crazy stuff.

Amazing the numbers he put up with that porous an OL - wow.

I like Geno, not a great QB by any means, but a solid pro, who just needed to get out of cesspool known as Jets football, like Sammy did.

Those guys who flop early in their careers, stick with it and prove they could compete and excel, are my favorites - they don’t quit.

Does Mina Kimes has some history? Let us know. Thanks

Not sure what you mean by history? There are more brilliant takes she's had over the years. This reaction to the Bills drafting Josh Allen is definitely a doozy

It was a joke; you were ripping on a Kim’s’ QB analysis and I was ripping on your Howell fetish - no one gets them all right bro, least of all me🤠

Being able to laugh at myself is a gift aging has brought me😃

I nearly forgot about the SB. The week off really hinders some of the excitement. It's grown into so much more than just a football game that it's hard to care that much about it. I'll watch of course, but it's just another game to me now.
