My guess is we see Connelly make some reactionary trades for another PG (Sexton, White, etc) along with a backup C/PF, especially if Naz is part of any trade.

With our Cap restrictions and lack of tradable assets, I find it hard to believe there are any trades even remotely possible that would make us a legitimate title contender this season.

Conley's rapid decline over the last 1.5 years has really hurt this team in a lot of ways that don't always show up in the stats sheet.

The trades should look forward to next year and beyond.

Some guys who still have years to go.

I think we are gradually getting to the point where Ant is going to get frustrated.

Agreed. I have no doubt that a trade for Coby White (that doesn't include any of our top 6 guys) makes us better this year.

The problem is we can't afford to re-sign White and because we're over the Cap, we can't use his departing salary to sign a different player in FA to replace him. We're also without whatever trade assets we used to acquire White initially.

These types of young players with untapped potential will be tough to pry away from other teams without tradable draft picks.

It's very possible. He seems happy here, as was KAT, but these guys want to win a title as badly as the fans want them to.

This is a tough spot that Connelly has put himself in.
 


Pistons Cade Cunningham picks up his 3rd foul in the 1st period against the Clippers. Clippers look kind of resurgent.

Really need to hope some team talks themselves into randle
 


White got hurt early, now Giddey appears to be hurt early in the 2nd half. So 2 starters.
Edit: Personal best for Reid on points? 14 assists for Randle. Showing only 3 turnovers in the box score. Stopped watching with about 8 minutes left.

Caught a few early minutes of the Nuggets/Heat game, but wasn’t aware Jokic hurt his knee.
 


Bulls bad. Half of NBA is bad right now. I don't think wolves will have very many losing streaks this season

especially when they've already lost so many stars (Tatum, Hali, Kyrie, Sabonis, amongst others) and you have guys like Lebron, Steph, Harden, Butler, Leonard hitting the end of their careers after being pillars for so long.
 

Pistons too much for the Lakers (sans Reaves) in the last game of the evening. Really nice offensive game by the little used Sasser. Detroit is deep. Clippers with 5 straight wins. Leonard been going off.
 


I'm watching this first half against the hawks. We are listless and dead.

They are getting into the lane at will and offensive rebounding at will.

We have no one jumping. We lack athleticism.

McDaniels is back to boring the schit out of me. Just loafing around not defending or jumping.

Trade anyone not named Ant.

The ease with which Atlanta is scoring is a sight to behold.

No one can stop ball penetration..........DDV can't, Edwards can't, McDaniels can't, Randle is a fly by......Naz(LOL)

Nori called it the worst half of basketball he has seen in his 5 years here.

Our primary bench guys of Reid, Conley, Bones and Clark shot 3-21 on FG's and 0-12 on 3's before being pulled for the super scrubs.

ATL was without Trae Young, too. Our frontcourt gets decimated by up tempo teams. Superb lack of effort all around today.
 

Ant threw a towel in the air and walked off the court.

This guy is going to blow.

Trades are coming and that's what I am looking forward, too.
 


When Randal and Naz play together, which they do a lot, the wolves front court plays defense like the Wizards. That’s a problem and the reason to move on from Naz. He’s a luxury big man off the bench who can score. While that is something the wolves need, he plays way to many minutes and is way to big of a defensive liability.
 

Move DDV to the bench. Start Dillingham.

This team always sucks to start games and has no energy or speed. Rob may turn it over, he may miss shots, but he's active and gets the ball moving.

Start Rob D. They have nothing to lose. Then DDV can come off the bench with some possible scoring.

Conley should never see the floor again.
