Typical fleck game

Responded to the wrong guy.

But in my opinion:
10th 8 win season since 1968
Undefeated at home for the first time since the 1960s
10th winning record in the big ten since 1970 (5th in the last 7 years)

0-3 vs top 1/3rd of big ten
1-1 vs middle 1/3rd
4-0 vs bottom 1/3rd

Freshman QB
Lost #2 RB early and had a banged up #1 for a lot of the year
First year DC left something to be desired a few weeks
I don’t like the OC
I don’t like the kicking game.

Team was painful to watch at times but I think if you can’t take any enjoyment from this season it means more about you as a person than the program.
A team that was okay went 8-5 (5-4). There are other things to be whiny bitches about.
I couldn’t agree more with the kicking game. Do we have to rely on a grad transfer type player from Syracuse?

Danny Collin’s jury is still out but loved the way they played today.

We were eight and a half or nine point underdogs. But you can just make up whatever qualifications you want to make your point.
Yes, yes he can. And he will. Based on recruiting comparisons alone that was a substantial upset

What is the ceiling?

It's hard not to say the Playoff or at least in contention. If we get a good conference schedule draw like IU did last year or A&M this year there's no reason we can't win 10 games and sneak in.

Indiana was the worst P4 football in the history of the sport and has made back to back playoff appearances and is the 1 seed. I know NIL has been a factor but I don't see any reason why Minnesota can't make the CFP.
You should see an eye doctor…

I’m sure none of us are doing backflips over how this season went but it says something about this program that we’re all somewhat disappointed in an 8 win season where we won the axe.
Nah. I've got wood to chop later. 17-7 and 64-63-8. Not our best, but Badger whine is pretty darn tasty.

With respect which other gopher coach in the last 50 years has won six or more conference games? Let alone twice!
What other Gopher Head Coach had the benefit of a 9 game Big 10 West (RIP) Schedule for more than 1 season?

One guy had it for a single season. Got 5 Ws and was canned.

Fleck has a winning conference record since the West went away.
He sure does, 10-8 in the conference those two years so far.

Wins: USC, @ UCLA, Maryland, @ Illinois, @ Wisc, Rutgers, Purdue, Nebraska, Mich State, Wisc

Losses: Iowa, @ Michigan, @ Rutgers, Penn State, @ Iowa, @ Ohio State, @ Oregon, @ Northwestern (Wrigley)

I can think of about $30,000,000 reasons

Yeah the D held the opponent to 2 field goals in regulation and one in OT.... that's a recipe for a win pretty much every game.

Only reason it wasn't a complete pounding was the offense.

After the Wrigley Field debacle on Defense, they only gave up 13 points over the next 8 quarters of football.

Had an original officials call stood in the end zone of the Axe game, that total would have been cut by more than half.

Drake Lyndsey sucks. Can you get to a CFP game with a QB that can’t run? This is our guy the next 3 years. Mid
Will Howard wasn't much of a runner and they won the natty last year so.

Sure they did.
Drake still going to get $2.4 million next year so he's fine but the source on that is as solid as it gets.
I can tell you why Jair Abasiri decommitted and how Evan Hull visit in 2018 went too if you want to put PJ in a bad light. Not all sunshine and rainbows over here.

Not exactly. New Mexico was a better team than 5 of the teams he's beaten (or what was left of those teams in the bowl).
I would put them second, maybe third. GA Tech was pretty good in 2018, if I remember correctly they were passed over on a couple bowls and were really pissed off about playing us in the Motor City Bowl.
