Go Gophers!!
Yeah this for sure seems like NIL. Great job everyone
Go Gophers!!
It is the antithesis of parityBrings parity across the landscape where TT might have never amounted to anything. I still think everything rises and falls and rises again to fall. Minnesota can rise again, and any team can claim a major rise in the future.
This is reality. Quit yelling at clouds. It's a business. It makes college football s___.
You don't have to earn anything. History means nothing. Building up something means nothing.
You just upjump yourself suddenly with a bunch of money that most of your opponents can't match.
That's not fair competition. That's a trash product
It’s gross that this just makes me want the traditional blue bloods to smash these type of teams.
Thank you for posting, Bleed.

Traditional blue bloods have been doing this for a while, they just haven't made videos about itIt’s gross that this just makes me want the traditional blue bloods to smash these type of teams.

Who’s “they”? Billionaires at TTU who were already giving (but presumably legally) vs. ???Thank you for posting, Bleed.
Really, really telling how they looked at the opportunity vs how Mn looked at the opportunity.
At Mn, it was we can't. There, it was we can and will.
I'm specifically talking about how Mn approached the situation. They did everything possible.“Generational opportunity” to buy as much talent as they wanted.

why? They are doing it too. Hell, they were doing it before it was legalIt’s gross that this just makes me want the traditional blue bloods to smash these type of teams.
This. It's always been happening and anyone who thinks otherwise is terribly naive.Traditional blue bloods have been doing this for a while, they just haven't made videos about it
It doesn't really bring parity. It just changes who the elite are. Parity would be like the NFL where every team basically has the exact same amount of money.Brings parity across the landscape where TT might have never amounted to anything. I still think everything rises and falls and rises again to fall. Minnesota can rise again, and any team can claim a major rise in the future.

I just posted about this issue on the bowl thread, or at least the NCAAs failure to manage this situation.
Go Gophers!!
Saturday, he said that “it was the best team money could buy”.

He seems pretty proud of himself.Saturday, he said that “it was the best team money could buy”.
For sure he is. Should be, he brought in a ton of talent. While a portion of the country debates what’s right or wrong or amateur or professional - this dude saw an opportunity to bring folks together and made it happen. Spend your money how you want. Not surprised he is a successful business person. He seems pretty proud of himself.
Some people are successful and boast about it. Most successful people are modest about it, and I prefer them over the loudmouths. For sure he is. Should be, he brought in a ton of talent. No it wasn’t. They said there is a window of no rules and we want to blow a bunch of money. MN said we will play within the rules.Thank you for posting, Bleed.

The problem was there is no enforcement of rules. I don’t fault donors or the U for not blowing money.
