Injury Updates?

Trying to track down injury updates for ALL of the players that are out. Can anyone give update or provide link to updates? When they expected back etc?

JCJ now too. No updates. Ever.
 




Weird that announcers always mention Stevens being out for the game....like there was a chance that he was in.....do a little homework. SMH
 



There was an official injury report in the IGT that did not list anyone out for the season.

And those are always truthful and accurate…

Turner healthy he just sucks. Crocker-Johnson hurt his ankle. Stephens has an undisclosed illness and some white guy named Max G broke his foot.
 

We are a day away from the B1G opener. Who's out with injury and who suits up to play against the Hosers?

If we could Viohola back that would help with rebounding and let us run the offense the way Niko wants too. Probably win the Stanford game by ten plus if we had his rebounding. Would have eliminated alot of those second chances Stanford got and they wouldn't have put up 22 more shots than we did. St. Louis would have been difficult in that scenario but them and Santa Clara IMO were the best teams in that quad. Didn't watch the San Francisco game but I imagine having Viohola would have settled things down on the offensive end but can't comment on if having him would have given us chance that day, but I do believe he's the most important piece of the guys who are out followed by Willis and JCJ, not sure why Niko had Reynolds handling more than Asuma that was baffling to me? Need Asuma to assert himself more.

Indeed. Shinholster just got called up to full time active duty. He and Asuma will be on the court together quite often. Unfortunately, what we thought was a 9 person rotation is now an iron 5 and we haven't even reached Christmas. There is no way we can blame Niko for the beatings his squad will take this season. No depth will kill most teams, let alone a team that was already short on talent. Is there anyone in the G league or Euro league that we can rent for three months? We may have to think like MLS soccer teams and their short contracts.

For the foreseeable future it's going to be
Asuma
Reynolds
Tyson
JCJ
Grove
Durkin and Shinholster off the bench. Turner being a cone is not helpful, but he will have to play when there's foul trouble. Asuma, Tyson and JCJ will be playing damn near the whole game. Durkin will play a lot when JCJ moves to the five. Have to play a lot of zone and get back on defense.
 

3 guys in the top 7 being out a majority of the season is something. Yikes. Wonder if Viahola, Willis, and Omot will be able to return next year.
 

I would start
PG: Asuma
SG: Shinholster
SF: Durkin
PF: Tyson
C: JCJ

Bring Reynolds, Grove, Turner off bench

Willis should, Omot has another year of eligibility missed last year as well. Viahola probably depends how much time he will miss. Think Willis has another year anyways because he spent a year in JUCO

In the article about Willis, Niko said they require more time. I don't think he said "quite some time" but I would take that to mean they won't play in either B1G game this week. Hopefully back by January.
