All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

Would Packer fans trade LeFluer/Love for KOC/McCarthy right now?
in a heartbeat
Loves contract goes 29, 36, 42, 74 mil and you're locked in with him. JJ even if you dislike him you can get off the ride much faster and cheaper. Nothing about Jordan Love says he's got that poise to string it together when it matters most

That said, their WR core is yuck without Kraft and Golden and even with them its meh. If they don't make it to the NFC title though, I would be 0% surprised if the fire him though.

74? Jesus.

They can cut him for 15. Dead cap hit flips after next season.
Yep would assume they used that to have leverage to renegotiate his contract but either you’re getting love at I’d guess 45 or so or you cut him and are burning 15+ a rookie deal at best or spending the sane to sign a vet given it was a roster they sold out on to win now.

With how he’s looked I can’t imagine many people are excited about him and that dollar amount when you see guys like Darnold (same age, lesser deal) or Mahomes (45mil AAV) doing what they’re doing/have done.

It’ll be an interesting offseason in Green Bay if they don’t win it this year or at least win a couple playoff games (they look much more like a WC team than a bye team at this point). Agree there’s no way they keep Love at 74, but means a decision on extension or a cut is coming

When was the last time the vikes had a coach that wasn’t a smug guy? I get the captain of the ship but mn has had a string of smugness in leadership.

didn't really get that vibe from Frazier. I don't necessarily get it from KOC as well but I can get where one would feel that way as well. Zimmer and Childress did give me that vibe. Hard for me to separate Tice the head coach from Tice the commentator/podcaster now.

Oh Boy. We got blah blah blah Tom Brady on the call of Sunday Bears @ Vikings game. 2 out of 3 weeks now.

Jameis Winston named the starter for the Giants, at home against the Packers. How fantastic and delicious would it be for Winston to just torch the Packers who come into New York as 7-pt favorites.... Winston could give you 4 TD's, but could give you 4 INT's, or both. I may actually watch that game

Get first downs KOC. How about that column. It’s more difficult to score when you don’t have the ball.
Piggy backing off of that:

There was some guy saying yesterday that JJ's passes have been in the air longer than any other qb in the league. In other words, we throw down field more than any other team.

Again, a guy in his 4th start needs some short and safe passes. We don't do this.

We don't run, and we throw long passes more than anyone. DERP

I love watching Winston play.

Winston should have been our QB2. Probably would have won at least one more game between Philly and Pittsburgh.

Betting line on the Vikings-Bears game has been moving around a little bit. It's again down to Vikings favored at -2.5 (at least on BetMGM) and it had been sitting on Vikings -3 for quite a while.

Not a huge "Pros vs Joes" game but there's definitely public money on the Bears and professional money on the Vikings. The Pros definitely like the OVER at 48.5 as well, with the public on the Under; more of a disparity there than with the point spread. Pros hitting the Over pretty hard

Indoor game, one terrible defense (Bears) against a defense in the Vikings that hasn't been outstanding by any stretch.

No Greenard and no C Ryan Kelly (shocker) for the Vikings. I like the Vikings to win this one, if they just keep Caleb Williams in the pocket (I don't think he can throw from the pocket), but the health of JJM's hand gives me pause

As far as betting, I'm leaning towards a stay-away on this one.

How has Kelly not been forced to retire yet???

Seven concussions

F'ing A dude ... do you really want to be drooling in a wheelchair, being wheeled around by your wife at 45??

Do the right thing for crissake. For your family
