Fickell is a horrible in game coach.

Down 14 with 3 timeouts left and you let Michgan run it all the way down to the 2 minute warning? Use your timeouts to try and force a punt with over 2 min still on the clock so that you can attempt to score twice.

People complain that Fleck overuses his time outs. I’m not sure Fickell knows what one is.

Purdue will go to 2-3. Granted it's a big rivalry vs Illinois and that the game could have looked a lot closer if not for Illinois' blowout 27-7 2nd quarter, but that's the nature of the game sometimes.

Hoping that coming back to homecoming against Purdue will be a nice bounceback win. Hoping for no injuries tonight ... that's my glass half full.

Rare to see a coach quit on their team like that. Whatever the odds were of a miracle outcome that’s not going to win any goodwill from their fans. He probably feels insulated as long as McIntosh is around.
