All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

She got fired by espn like a year ago

ESPN has not exactly been a safe haven for anyone espousing anything remotely resembling a conservative viewpoint. That will get you sent packing immediately.

I'm actually really looking forward to seeing Carson Wentz in a Vikings uniform. Here's hoping he takes the opportunity and runs (and throws?) with it. He's only 32 years old, still plenty left in the tank. Sitting on the sidelines in SF with Shanahan and then with Andy Reid the last few years sure can't hurt. With any luck he's learned some humility in the last few years and he's a much better teammate than he was allegedly earlier in his career? I sure hope so.

By all accounts, Wentz was an absolute disgrace in his previous locker rooms and not even Andy Reid could make him look like a functional QB when Mahomes was out.

I'm guessing that Wentz still gives us a better chance to win, but honestly, I'd rather see what Brosmer can at this point even though I think his NFL ceiling is as a career backup QB.

Reusse said on a podcast today that Wentz is "not beloved" in Fargo and that he and Carson have given the same amount of $$ to NDSU's new football facility.

He was never with Shanahan. One year in LA with McVey.

he clearly has been helping the raiders offense so far :D

In reality, this is just dumb from Fox/the NFL. IMO he's not even a good broadcaster (it's LOL comical they gave him $375 million to do this) and its such a huge conflict of interest that you're going to get yourself into the shit if there's ever accusations.

The Minnesota Vikings are placing veteran running back Aaron Jones on injured reserve, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jones, who's dealing with a hamstring injury, will now miss at least four games

I’m with you Ogie. Hasn’t even taken a snap yet. Give the guy a chance

Good grief... this is just plain ridiculous. Ridder is an awful QB. Zero chance I would support him playing over Brosmer. Ugghhhh

^^^^^^
I'm sorry, but a qb starting his first two games has literally no chance.

Didn't we spend the moon on Fries? It's early, but how the hell is that even possible?

My Gawd

Agree on JJ having no chance so far.

I think the OL coach may be a problem

I think Darrisaw being out could have a domino effect, it certainly weakens the unit. Right now I would mostly just be concerned about the two high-priced FA they picked up in Fries and Kelly. They really need those guys to play all season and play well

I won’t be surprised if Kelly is out multiple weeks if not possibly the season. His concussion history is very severe

Dies it matter on the severity of it?
Or is the accumulation too much regardless of the severity?
