Gate E will be the entrance and it will open at 5:30

Expect Lindsey to be unstoppable!

Anyone who goes, I have a list of questions:

- How does Lindsey look
- How does our OL look
- WR's - who stands out. How does Coleman look?
- How does AJ Turner look?
- Anyone else notable at LB aside from the two seniors?
- Any standouts in the secondary aside form the usual suspects?
- Will our D-line be as nasty as we all hope it will be?

I'm really curious about our WR room. Brockington is the grizzled vet but he's not the Alpha, I don't think there is an alpha.

I think I was on another site when I said it but this guy is/was a gem. When they took so many RBs in the portal I was kind of worried about him leaving but I think he has a really high ceiling. He could be lethal as an RB3 this season and be our next bell cow next year.

Fun night at practice! Enjoyed watching Koi on that deep bomb. Darius had some powerful runs. Fame looked surprisingly good, Javon Tracy has great hands, Logan Loya could get run at returns. Lindsey seems like he has control of the offense. Cam Davis (Washington transfer RB) looks promising.

First a disclaimer - there was a lot of mix and match tonight so it wasn't the first team against second team but rather this group of guys vrs that group of guys. So... it was had for me to ger a read on how good our O or D will look but there were some good individual performances.

- How does Lindsey look - Look OK, good arm, missed some passes but hard to say if it was the D, the receiver or Drake. He will look a lot better i think when he settles in with the number ones.
- How does our OL look Too much mix and match for me to form an opinion
- WR's - who stands out. How does Coleman look? I thought both Javon Tracy,11, and Logan Loya,17, looked good - got open and caught passes that came their way. They will both have a part i am sure.
- How does AJ Turner look? OK but not a world beater although I think he did have a long run up the side. Mostly, as far as I could tell he seemed well contained.

I think so based on an Oklahoma type drill that they did. One blocker against one blocker both at the line of scrimage and at the linebacker level - the back had to get past both defenders - in my mind the D won most of those.

I'm really curious about our WR room. Brockington is the grizzled vet but he's not the Alpha, I don't think there is an alpha.

Brockington didn't play much (but he had a very nice catch and run) nor did any of the proven vets except for Drake. Limited reps for Koi, Darius, Brockington and I am sure others I have missed.

Curious whether Sam Macy played. He had a great HS career, I believe at Chanhassen. He seems to have prospered in the weight room. 6’4” 220 coming out of HS. Listed on last year’s roster, true freshman, at 6’4” 235. Was out injured last year. Listed on this year’s roster, RS Freshman, at 6’5” 250. Already bigger than Jaxon Howard. Wondering whether Macy is developing at the DE position as well.

Big Ten Network were there today but showed no plays. Lots of talking... O-Line biggest concern.
Defense looks good. Drake makes quick decisions. Kingsbury maybe all conference.
Perich will be all over the field. RB room is deep but back to O-Line concerns if we can dominate on the ground.
Danny Collins will have defense flying around and aggressive ... is the feeling I got.
Today was first padded practice.
