Big 10 Subs: Yeah baby, they’re back!

Is this a special occasion sort of thing or routine in the restaurant or truck?

Whole Pastrami with pepper jack, with fries please.

It'll probably become like McDonalds with the McRib: programmed scarcity.

Last time they had them available, they announced a "final" date of retiring them, so my wife and I went over there and gorged. To be honest, the ingredients were what I'd remembered, but the bread wasn't quite the same. The buns were bigger and doughier (which wasn't good; I don't like a bunch of unnecessary bread getting in the way of my sandwich gorging). At least that was my assessment.

Turkey, hold the oil and onions.

1-3:30 seems like an obscure time to sell them.

After a long wait in line, the subs were real, and they were spectacular.

Tasted exactly as I remember them. No fires, though, only had tots.

Definitely missed. Sgt. Preston's too. Had some awesome sandwiches made to order there...super fresh bread and toppings.

Everyone pump the brakes. They are only back if $1 pitchers of Natural Ice are available on Tuesdays. Combined with the saltiest popcorn around. Wednesday’s never hurt so good.
I just remember their bottles were always cheap, and I always got Moosehead. Moosehead is good head; remember that!

Do they even make that anymore??

I had a first date at Sgt Prestons after we saw a free preview screening of Planes, Trains and Automobiles at Willey Hall. That would have been November 1987, I guess. Successful first date. 😏🔥

I was at that screening as well. Probably went to the Big 10 before and/or after.
