He's the real deal. And he never leaves a bad impression - he's always welcome back wherever he leaves. It's amazing how fast I've talked myself into Medved. A week ago Medved was, "Yeah I guess he might be OK."
The usual cover is hiring the search firm to vet out "candidates." I often wonder if I shouldn't resister as a sports vetting firm to just accept checks and say the process is confidential.Coyle is still going to pretend he had an open process and talked to many candidates.
I’d be on board with him. I think his resume and results are reasons enough that his local ties aren’t the primary reason to hire him.I think some talked themselves out of Medved because of the local ties.
He has done a really solid job at CSU and 3 NCAA tournament appearances in past 4 years there is impressive. Memphis is very short handed but Colorado State has been extremely impressive against them in the second half.
Looks like we will have to wait through the weekend to find out if he is Minnesota bound after the tournament ends for them.
If they play like they did today they can beat MarylandThey covered.

Forgive me for not going crazy about the superlatives, but Seth Davis numbed me by calling Ben Johnson elite.
They would be a heavy favorite against Grand Canyon so just kind of assumed that one.*Grand Canyon
I have 3 12s into round two (McNeese, CSU and Liberty). How many got a little bump in their bracket with a CSU pick?
I stayed up practically all night to watch Grand Canyon and I didn’t see anything suggesting they could pull off a big upset in the tournament. I may have been delirious, but that’s what I remember.*Grand Canyon
I won’t twll on you if 10% goes back to NIL for the Gophers. The usual cover is hiring the search firm to vet out "candidates." I often wonder if I shouldn't resister as a sports vetting firm to just accept checks and say the process is confidential.

I’ll add floor spacing and ball movement. Looking forward to seeing how they perform against Maryland (if they win)His teams show discipline and poise.
Sure, but isn't there also an advantage that you can sell yourself as a coach who was just in the Sweet Sixteen (or better) if they get past this weekend? If that dude's source is correct, lets hope he's here Monday when the portal re-opens....Sorry CSU but I'm rooting against you Sunday.
this. if he's a done deal, i want him to win the FF. This is an exaggeration to some extent, but most of the premier guys aren't going to sign when there are still going to be a ton of visits and such to set upSure, but isn't there also an advantage that you can sell yourself as a coach who was just in the Sweet Sixteen (or better) if they get past this weekend?
My corruption should yield the highest possible payout. I'm not greedy. Bwahahaha.I won’t twll on you if 10% goes back to NIL for the Gophers.

So, is it allowed in other college sports...like, say, football? What is this in game adjustment you talk about? Is that legal?
I agree, smart move in the game. Can Niko bring his entire roster along too?
I bought my green corduroy jacket from Twill. It is a wonderful piece in my wardrobe. My corruption should yield the highest possible payout. I'm not greedy. Bwahahaha.
One thing to have success at those places. Another thing altogether to have success at the most difficult job in the country. (Sarcasm in play)Looking at Medved at each of his college destinations. He has improved as a coach at every stop. Can he do the same here? If he did, the Gophers will achieve phenomenal success. We shall see if Minnesota has the cheese touch or the Midas touch.
I will never play you on any golf course without forgetting my wallet at home.I bought my green corduroy jacket from Twill. It is a wonderful piece in my wardrobe.
“Niko is beyond a rising star,” former CSU coach and current San Jose State coach Tim Miles told The Denver Gazette last year. “He’s one of the best college coaches in all of the landscape.”
Shoulda hired him 4 years ago. Dominoes don’t seem to stop falling.“Niko is beyond a rising star,” former CSU coach and current San Jose State coach Tim Miles told The Denver Gazette last year. “He’s one of the best college coaches in all of the landscape.”
I remember when Ben Johnson was hired. I immediately thought it must be Jacobsen and I heard it wrong. I was flabbergasted that we hired Jacobsen, but I then was depressed when I learned that it was indeed Johnson.Tony Bennet?
Ben Jacobsen?
Jacobsen being hired would be as confusing as the Ben Johnson hire.
