***OFFICIAL NEBRASKA AT MINNESOTA SEASON OPENING IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Qb has a long ways to go. He will have thrown more ints than tds through 5 games. He is not the answer

What was Boe thinking on that sack?
It wasn’t Boe’s fault. The O line was blocking outside to the left, Lewis messed up and thought the Center was helping him.
Boe makes the line calls and the left side was in unison.

How much longer are we going to suck at Special Teams? It is an issue every year. The facet that is below average changes, but as a whole it’s always bad.
same coach every single year...how fleck hasn't fired him is beyond me.

Don't you usually block the guy who is head up on you?

A few weeks ago I commented that I was worried about a new O-line based on history where they typically looked like shit early in the season. I was told not to worry because they had a lot of experienced players filling in for last year's starters. I was right. There's a difference between getting the kinks out against a G5 team like most years versus playing a major rival with a decent defensive line. These guys look terrible.

What game are you watching?
What are his stats? That int is a first year freahmen throw. What have you seen to suggest he can be w successful big ten qb? His stats are abysmal

I think our national TV opening game is in jeopardy next year.

Nope. It depends where he goes. If he tried to go in the left A gap, then yes. Or if Boe called the line call to the other side, he’d be taking the right A gap.

Matt Rhule can take the spectrum of bad clock management with him as our gift.

His stats are unimpressive because 80% of the throws are 5 yard outs.

I really don't see this as Athan's fault, just notice how many 3rd and longs we have had to deal with. Zero running game, zero creativity, so they're getting defended easily.
