***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT IOWA FLOYD OF ROSEDALE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Only coach PJ owns is Frost. At least we aren’t Nebraska.

We need to run another QB out there who can pass. At least give us the opportunity to maybe win.

Well maybe the Gophers’ running game is good enough to beat downtrodden Indiana next week? Get to 7 wins this year?
Illinois and Bowling Green suggest Indiana will come out strong next week and grind out a 20-13 win.

This was our year to win the pig. I scared to think how long before we have a legit chance to win it. We are losing a lot of o linemen.

Anyone else notice, Morgan has absolutely no game sense. He stands around out on the field, it’s 4th. and 14 wondering “are going for it”?

Just looked, we are at 104 in ave. yards per return on 14 kick returns. The 14 returns are in the bottom 50 for total number of returns on the year.
For Punts we are 45th for punt return ave. Tied for 57 in total number of returns and at 51 for total yards per return.
I hate this stat. I have no idea why they don’t return the damn ball

This was how I saw it too. I had read that same guide after Ohio st no calls. Seemed to be consistent with your logic.
That OSU hit on MBS was targeting because he launched into him and made helmet to helmet contact and it was going up. Still pissed about that non-call and Gus J pleading it wasn't.

Morgan still absolutely awful today. Take a chance on someone else to give yourself an opportunity to actually win? Pleaaaaaase?
"Loyalty" and "Culture" matter more than winning football games. That's obvious.

Corn Nation, can you bitch about PJ Frost also?

Here comes desperate play calling from Sanford and PJ. And TM will throw obligatory interception to seal the game.

That last 3rd down pass play was indicative of the whole season. 3 receiver set. 2 receivers across the middle are covered like glue so Tanner overthrows a prayer sideline throw to the 3rd covered receiver. It's happened dozens of times this year.

We are a Big10 team with a QB that can't throw a spiral. And coaches that don't really seem to mind. Just bizarre.

This game was winnable but the inability to score TDs in the red zone whether it was due to play calling, execution by the offense or the conservative philosophy is the difference.
