Not sure how Nebraska state law works but if Hennepin county wanted to talk t a gopher football player and the university said no, they’d simply not listen
Wowwww
The not making him available part is a really bad look.
Except the U of M is located inside Hennepin county.
It sounds like in this case, he is being charged in California and they are unable to get to him.
Any why is the news organization publishing a tweet with a picture of a girl who has been sexually exploited and is underage?
The victim actually wanted them to publish....it would give her more credibility. The publication offered to blur the photo as well. She asked to publish as is.
Neb says they knew at the cops wanted to talk to him, but they didn't know why.

This one definitely stinks of a cover-up of some kind on the part of Nebraska. That said, if they are able to prove that the player in question sent the video to the girl he is toast because even if he isn't charged with revenge porn he still had a video of a 15 year old having sex on his phone and he sent it to someone which is a felony according to the story.
Of course, Mixon skated despite clear video evidence of felony assault and battery... then again that was hometown law. This incident involves out of state law enforcement. But, California has become so crime-friendly and law enforcement a revolving door due to an overstressed system and hands off politicians I’m a bit surprised they’re hotly pursuing this or whether it will ever end up as an infraction with jail/prison time. What’s in the wind down there in casa Frost? Going to keep him?

Prior problems with many recruits involve out of state law enforcement. This is the United States and violation of the law doesn’t end at the state boarders. California is not El Paso, or like El Paso was, or wait it looks like EL Paso never had a problem. I guess you shouldn’t make stuff up just to support your opinion.

This makes more sense. The original tweet I saw read like the police were trying to run their interviews through the University of Nebraska
Huh? In regards to Mixon he received friendly treatment/favoritism instead of prison time. My point was California SHOULDNT be as accommodating as they have no incentive to be. I’m skeptical he will eventually serve time considering the location of the crime but we’ll see.

Meaning... California is too lenient on criminals? If that's what you're saying, do you have supporting data?
Pick up the internet and read about non violent crimes and legislation in CA. It’s not a secret where things are going, particularly in certain locales with certain voting demographics. Now the thread has totally derailed - you are welcome.
I'll ask again; do you have any data? Any specific source?
