The Buckeyes had the week off, they host Marshall next week.
2. USC
Last Week: #2
USC heads to Ann Arbor this week after having a week off.
3. Penn State Last Week: #3
Penn State had the week off, they host Kent State next.
4. Nebraska Last Week: #4
The Nebraska defense has held their first three opponents to 10 points or fewer for the first time since 2005.
5. Oregon Last Week: #6
The Ducks finally got it together to defeat their in-state rival Oregon State, 49-14.
6. Rutgers Last week: #5
Rutgers head down to Virginia Tech after having a week off.
7. Illinois Last Week: #7
The Illini find themselves 3-0 and now head into a tough two stretch where they go on the road to Nebraska and Penn State.
8. Michigan State Last Week: #8
The Spartans dominated FCS opponent Prairie View A&M, 40-0.
9. Indiana
Last Week: #9
The Hoosiers spoil UCLA’s Big Ten debut in the Rose Bowl behind Kurtis Rourke’s four touchdowns through the air.
10. Michigan Last Week: #10
The Wolverines bounce back from their first loss of the season by beating Arkansas State, 28-18.
11. Iowa Last Week: #13
The Hawkeyes struggled in the first half against Troy but found their groove in the second half. Kaleb Johnson had himself a day with 173 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
12. Minnesota Last Week: #14
The Gophers defense dominates Nevada and gets their second straight shutout, the first time that has happened since 1962.
13. Wisconsin
Last Week: #12
Hard to beat Alabama when your full strength, even harder when you’re starting QB gets injured on the first drive. Have to feel for Tyler Van Dyke, who was looking to lead the Badgers after transferring from Miami last year.
14. Washington
Last Week: #11
In their loss against their in-state rival, the Huskies were called for 16 penalties—third-most in school history—for 135 yards.
15. Maryland Last Week: #16
Maryland WR Tai Felton led the way with nine catches, 117 yards, and a touchdown.
16. Northwestern Last Week: #15
The Wildcats beat Eastern Illinois 31-7; they now head to Washington to open Big Ten play.
17. Purdue
Last Week: #15
Make that nine straight defeats for Purdue against Notre Dame, who destroys The Boilermakers 66-7.
18. UCLA
Last Week: #18
The Bruins schedule is about to get a lot tougher with LSU, Oregon, and Penn State awaiting them.
