No team in the conference exceeded expectations more than Michigan did last season. The young and inexperienced Wolverines performed well from late January on, reaching the NCAA tournament and blowing out Tennessee in their first game before losing to Duke in a closely contested affair. Now, with more experience and plenty of confidence, Michigan heads into the new season with lofty goals.
