Gopher Football

With only three Minnesota Gopher football games remaining in the Metrodome, Gopher fans are counting down the days until September 12, 2009 when TCF Bank Stadium opens. As you drive by the stadium site, you can’t help but marvel at the rapid progress that has been made over the course of this year. A GopherHole message board poster, GoAUpher, was fortunate enough to receive a comprehensive tour of the stadium construction site recently, and he was generous enough to take a lot of pictures, ask in-depth questions, and then post the information he gathered on the Brew’s Crew message board for all Gopher fans to enjoy.

Click on the following links to view the three message board posts from GoAUpher:

Part 1: Photos of the main seating area, premium seating areas, the club room, main concourse, as well as some of the spectacular views from the upper portion of the stadium.

Part 2: Photos of the brick exterior, the stone Minnesota county signs, recruiting lounge, the locker room, and the “˜M’ room.

Part 3: Various comments about future plans for expanding the stadium, tailgating information, plans for the first game against Air Force, and information on ticket distribution.
