GopherHole.com Staff Picks – Week 1

Over the course of the college football season, the GopherHole.com writers will be engaging in an intense battle to see who is the most intelligent (or luckiest) football fan of the bunch. Each week we will give our predictions for each Big Ten game along with a few national games. To make things more interesting, a special guest will make his/her predictions each week as well, along with a member of The Hole. We’ll be charting the results all season and come the end of November we will know without a doubt who the smartest (or luckiest) person is.

This week’s celebrity guest is Chip Scoggins, who is the Gopher football beat writer for the Star Tribune. A University of Missouri graduate, Scoggins is oft-regarded as one of the most talented writers in college sports and is credited in large part for the increase in local print coverage for the Gophers. A tireless worker, Scoggins submits Week 1 predictions with a Gopher win!
