Up Next: Northwestern

  1. Michigan State (7-0)

Last Week: Defeated Indiana 20-15

The Spartans stay perfect with a win over Indiana. It wasn’t pretty as they were down 9-7 at halftime but getting a win on the road in the Big Ten is what good teams do, even when you don’t play to your full potential.

Next Up: Bye Week

  1. Iowa (6-1)

Last Week: Lost to Purdue 24-7

Iowa couldn’t stop Purdue WR David Bell and the Boilermaker offense who went off for 464 total yards, 378 of those in the air. Iowa QB Spencer Petras had his worst game of the season throwing 195 yards and four interceptions.

Next Up: Bye

  1. Minnesota (4-2)

Last Week: Defeated Nebraska 30-23

Tanner Morgan broke a school record by throwing 16 straight completions, Bryce Williams ran for 127 yards, and the Gophers red zone defense stood tall with Nebraska only scoring on three of their five trips inside the 20-yard line.

Next Up: Maryland

     7. Purdue (4-2)

Last Week: Defeated Iowa 24-7

Jeff Brohm loves to play to Iowa. After Saturday’s win, Brohm is now 4-1 against the Hawkeyes. Purdue dominated from start to finish with David Bell having a career day with 11 receptions, 240 yards, and one touchdown.

Up Next: Wisconsin

  1. Maryland (4-2)

Last Week: Idle

Next Up: @Minnesota

  1. Wisconsin (3-3)

Last Week: Defeated Army 20-14

If you watched this game with a warm glass of milk, you would’ve been sleeping by the second quarter. No doubt the Badgers’ defense will keep them in games, just not sure if the offense will help them out.

Up Next: @Purdue

  1. Nebraska (3-5)

Last Week: Lost to Minnesota 30-23

The Cornhuskers lacked “Juice” according to head coach Scott Frost, they sure didn’t look interested in the first half before coming to life in the second half. Nebraska finally has a bye after playing eight weeks straight.

Up Next: Bye Week

  1. Northwestern (3-3)

Last Week: Defeated Rutgers 21-7

The Wildcats come out of their bye week with an impressive win over Rutgers and return to .500. Ryan Hilinski threw for 267 yards and two touchdown passes — big challenge next week in Ann Arbor.

Next Up: @ Michigan

  1. Rutgers (3-4)

Last Week: Lost to Northwestern 21-7

After winning its first three games, Rutgers is now on a four-game losing streak searching for answers for an offense that couldn’t do much against Northwestern.

Next Up: Bye Week

13. Indiana (2-4)

Last Week: Lost to Michigan State 20-15

Jack Tuttle started in place of injured Indiana quarterback Michael Penix Jr. but the Hoosier’s offense continues to struggle. Crazy to think this team went 6-1 last year in conference play.

Up Next: Ohio State

  1. Illinois (2-5)

Last Week: Idle

Up Next: @ Penn State
