Chaska’s Ross Travis is considered one of the top players in the state of Minnesota for the class of 2011. GopherHole.com initially spoke with him in January about his game and recruitment, and Nadine Babu recently spoke with him again for an update on his summer AAU and camp calendar and an update on his recruitment.

GH: You look like you’ve gotten bigger. Have you been working on adding weight?
RT: Yea, last year I was about 185lbs and now I am up to 205 and I am 6-7.
GH: What game part of your game are you working on?
RT: I am working on my handles and my shooting. My shooting is really starting to get more consistent. I understand the game better, and more high major colleges are looking at me.
GH: Are you getting more confident on the offensive side?
RT: Oh yea definitely. I am forced to handle the ball more and I am working on ball handling.
GH: What have you heard from the Gophers recently?
RT: Not a lot. I still get a lot of letters. I talked to Tubby who has been to a few of my games and that’s about it.
GH: What does your summer schedule look like?
RT: I’ll be in Indy, Milwaukee, Chicago and Las Vegas for the Super 64.
GH: What other schools have you been in contact with?
RT: I’ve been in contact with Wisconsin, Boston College, Oregon State, Washington State and Iowa.
