The fact is that infielders extending their range into where a normal outfielder can reach the ball coming forward is a relatively new thing. Not uninformed in the least but I don’t need to justify that to you. I’m simply not a fan of the practice that directly led to an injury. Weird flex.
I may be in the minority, but not a lot of things bug me more than infielders extending too far into the outfield to make a catch while calling off outfielders. Buxton vs. Correa didn't need to happen.
