All Things 2024 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

For an organization that just loves the righty/lefty matchups, I fail to understand why they are so reluctant to invest money or picks on a left handed starter. Priellipp seems to be the only LHP in the system that's even decently regarded. Most of the pitching prospects are righties.

I liked how Provus took time to explain and walk through how you can watch the game on Roku tomorrow. I still expect a profanity-filled phone call from my father at about 12:06 tomorrow about not being able to figure it out, but he should at least be pointing in the right direction before I have...

Who's worse: Ober vs. KC or Ryan vs. Houston?

Yeah. McCullers is always hurt. It's more about Uriquidy and Javier and if Blanco is the no-hit guy or the guy who got pummeled tonight. They,'ve got plenty of options to make noise.

It's weird. Houston is mostly the same cast of characters, plus Josh Hader and the only guy who's way below his norm is Bregman. Would not be surprised if they're right there down the stretch.

North Carolina on FOX; Rhode Island 11AM on Peacock

I did this last year (same promo) basically just for one Twins game, but there was other stuff that made it well worth 20 bucks, namely the one NFL payoff game that was only available on Peacock, a couple gopher hoops games, plus it was the only place to stream Oppenheimer. My year runs out in...

Paul Bunyan Axe to be played on Black Friday.

Those are kind of going the way of the dodo anyway. Black Friday isn't what it used to be.

Fishing bores me and I don't hunt. You have fun though.

Feels a lot like 2019 Gopher football to me. Relatively speaking, it's a great season simply because it out-paces the norm. But it's largely a squandered opportunity to go to the next level and make something really special happen.

Towns could knee their top 8 guys in the head and it still would not matter.

Instead of obsessing over lefty/righty matchups, maybe set up your rotation so Ober doesn't have to face the Royals. Good grief.

From what I saw of him last year with his brief MLB stint and in the minors, I rolled my eyes pretty hard when reading that he was being counted on for depth at SP. But he's been as solid as you can expect a young pitcher to be at the back of the rotation. I still think they're in big, big...

Wolves PG is a lot like Vikings QB. They've filled the hole with really good veterans at some points, but it's largely been a revolving door, starting with Pooh Richardson instead of Tim Hardaway.

No sweep. Played poorly for large stretches, but came through. Plane to MN, plane to Dallas, plane to MN, plane to Boston.
