At this time, Durkin and Asuma are my two favorites on this squad. There could likely be newbies that will earn PT at BD's expense. If so we will be a better team.
Asuma, Palmer, Groves and Shin will get time based on their ability to play D and size. . I am concerned about Evans lack of size going against bigger and stronger BIG PG's. In spite of that he did play considerable minutes at PG for Niko at CSU.

Malik offers the potential for a strong presence in the paint, something the top teams in the BIG have. IMO, this along with keeping the team healthy, are the two main factors in making this team competitive.

GI reports are that both Palmer and Grady are on the side with sprained ankles. No surgeries expected. Supposedly Grady’s is unrelated to his past ankle issues.
Zip codes are over rated. Our best players last year, Cade, JCJ and Reynolds were from else where. Maybe Isaac could be mentioned. Take away Garcia and the next best were not from Minnesota.
