The Gopher football and hoops programs are hamstrung when it comes to trying to get to the level of the quality programs. It hasn't happened and likely won't considering the current climate.
So we accept mediocrity or less and then, at best, hope for a decent season when the stars line up in...
I feel for Max. Like the announcers said...."whoever is the Vikings QB he has had very little help".
The Queens need to start over. Replace the GM and staff, trade Jefferson for a couple of quality OL and bring in a FA QB. Most important is putting together a decent OL.
Waukee (Iowa) senior defensive back 6-0 175 lb Tavian White committed on Saturday after their win over the Wisconsin Badgers. The rising safety had been committed to the Fighting Sioux of North Dakota since the spring.
I remember watching this game. Wow! That was hard fought football played in the elements. The Marshall Int and run then lateral to Allan Page was amazing.

Its alarming because they are higher ranked platers. How many 85-86 rated recruits flip?
I'm not certain how many high ranked players transfer after signing day compared to going elsewhere prior to signing day. My guess is its very low but you seem to think the number is substantial. Help me...
Expectations were high with Niko on the Gopher sideline. Having a coach who made the NCAA's and actually won a game is foreign to Gopher fans and must automatically equate to a good Gopher team.
Niko must recruit at the BIG level which he failed to do his first season. Worse than what Ben...
There is a huge difference between 6-6 and 8-4 other than two more wins or loses.
Right now we are not a good 6-4 squad. Losing the next two to teams with a combined BIG record of 4-10 would be certainly confirm that. A good 6-4 team would beat both NU and Wisky.
NUball and Fleckball are similar. From what I have seen recently NW is better at it than UM in spite of their recent losses. NU is a very physical team and if they can establish their run game, its over.
